Rapoport: Steve Sarkesian to take Falcons' OC Job

This is a surprise. Sarkisian was going to take over this offseason as OC in Alabama after Lane Kiffin left. Then, because Lane Kiffin was a jackass, they kicked him out prior to the national championship game and Sarkiian took over for that game.

Sarkisian left USC in disgrace (allegedly) after repeated alcohol-related issues, including showing up for a Sunday practice completely blasted. He is actually suing the school for wrongful termination (but that case may have been resolved, I honestly haven't been following it that closely).

IMHO a very strange hiring for Atlanta.

One has to appreciate the stability that BB has established here.

Atlanta now has to learn a new offense and if successful.. This guy will leave and they will be in the same situation again.
