Randy Moss just finished up a Q&A with the media here at Gillette Stadium. Here’s the complete transcript:How do you feel?*I feel as good as anybody else coming off their off week.*Ready to go back to the Bay Area?*I think I’m more just glad to get back into football. *Last week was kind of off [...]

Were the Globe scribes giggling or rolling their eyes at this one:

"What kind of confidence are you developing in Matt Cassel as time goes on?

First of all, he has to believe in himself. I think it’ll trickle on down to the whole offense. We’ve seen Matt progress these last couple of weeks, I think, quicker than we’re expecting to, so we just have to put guys around him. Luckily, he’s the quarterback — he gets the good and the bad. With the 10 guys that we put around him, we have to make it happen. It’s not everything on him, or on his shoulders. He has to be smart and distribute the ball, but at the same time, he has 11 guys out there that have to get the ball done. We like what we’re doing a sa whole offensive unit, and hopefully, we can keep it going. "

Officially, Moss and Owens are in two different character classes. No doubt about it.

I loved his response here:

When asked whether he's had to adjust his play in going from Brady to Cassel, Moss batted away the question.

"You like starting trouble, man," he said. "I'm not going to answer that. Put it in your own column. Next question."

He doesn't send it, it pulls from the RSS automatically. I'll have to look into it - Ian

Oh, I see. I withdraw my snide remark.

Randy's saying all the right things about the offense and he sounds ready to go!
