He made some key blocks / take downs on those screen passes. He deserves an A for effort, the technique was only so-so but another example of how the 'Magic Patriot dust' rubs off on players.

Plus a killer post game interview, he is a big man, not the heaviest but very tall and strong, total mismatch against any CB.

Ideally, you would think seeing him dive on some of those blocks, and seeing how his second TD came on a play that wasn't meant for him, the "effort" questions should be put to rest. Of couse we all know that won't be the case.

We also saw with the Maroney TDs how he took the safeties away from Maroney, you can never underestimate the Moss effect. He had a complete game on Saturday.

There's one guy whose press comments should probably be taken at face value, even when he's obviously half-joking.

E.g., it was just a few weeks ago he was talking about putting in the effort to block, but saying that his technique amounted mainly to getting in somebody's way.

Yeah, he gets in a few hard hits on blocks, but that area is not his technique forte'.

They were discussing his post game comments on WEEI today. Paul Parillo was lamenting he said what he did about showing the media. Felt it was uncalled for given how much they have enjoyed his sessions of late. Couldn't seem to remember anyone who though Moss was a bad idea (or fit or had lost a step or was a dog)...at least Dale had the sense to remind him he was misremembering to some extent...

Randy blocks his ass off on the plays I have seen. I think his technique is hilarious. All stooped over like he is stumbling forward into the defender.

On a related note, Welker is an animal. That little $h!t blocks like a madman. A great role model for all shrimps.
