I did NOT say we were better at the position compared to last year. Losing Willie is a major loss. Even if bb believes that Willie is over the hill, the loss for us is the same.
..........

Actually BB said something in one of his recent PCs this week that may
indicate why he let Willie go. He said were trying to get faster this year.
Now what did he do to try and get faster?
Moving Vrabel back outside to take Willie's role may be getting faster.
Willie is a big guy and it takes him a few steps to get up to speed.
If Beisel can cut it at ILB that will be a faster move.
The other major "faster" move is Maroney on offense.
Jackson is also a "faster" move but I don't think they though they would
get him.
Willie Andrews is "is a faster" move but he is offset by loss of Bethel.
Thomas looks to be faster than Fauria

Any other "faster" moves?

Very premature on Caldwell. Major pick up????? C'mon.
It's premature to say anything about anyone if what you need is proof by way of actual playing, because not one draft pick has played a down, and no veteran has proven he hasn't deteriorated, but going by what we have seen of the team so far, what would you call a guy who has been catching everything thrown his way? A disappointment?
