Question: Source for still shots

I see coaches and players looking at still shots of formations during the game. Are these prepared in advance or are they taken in-game? If they're taken in-game, what is the process for capturing the images and getting them down to the sidelines?

the "polaroids" are taken in game and brought down to the sidelines....they are specifically referenced in the "don't video tape stuff" rule as being the only exception.
