I've got to ask, who makes a straight up bet when the current spread is 13.5?

If you were to bet the Patriots straight up at an actual casino/sports book, you'd have to put up -1100 dollars just to win 100 bucks.

I bet his internet handle is Fourier Series. I'm thinking there's a pretty good chance that he ducks you if he loses, or at least tries to convince you that the Texans "really won the game" somehow.

Nah, he's very reliable. And he's a diehard Texans fan which makes the bet even sweeter lol.

I even explained to him that BB has been around his team before the preseason game and he STILL wants the bet lol.

You would have been stupid to refuse it (assuming the guy is on the up and up)

It was too good to pass up. At first he wanted $100, then after a little casual workday trash-talk (which I think I got in his head lol), he up the ante $200 lol
