Pundit mock drafts 2026 [maybe with FAILs]

Agreed. The lack of a starter capable EDGE is the only real black mark here.

I don't know how the board fell, but I'd swap out Trotter (good player though) and Ball and go EDGE at 63 and Jimmy Rolder at 125.

You can see the full mock at the link. Jacas went at 62, but DDS was still available. They gave Rolder to TB at 116, with Bryce Boettcher the next LB off the board in the 5th round.

Wow. I wish the board fell that way.

My redraft:

31. Max Iheanachor (31)
63. Treydan Stukes (64)
95. Ted Hurst (95)
*** Trade: NE trades 125 and 171 to Cincinnati for 110
110. Keyron Crawford (112)
*** Trade: NE trades 131 and 191 to Arizona for 143 and 183
143. Kaleb Elarms-Orr (150)
183. Eli Raridon (184)
198. Rene Konga (201)
202. Keagen Trost (208)
212. Eli Heidenreich (224)
247. Micah Morris (ND)

How 'bout them apples?

That draft would hit everything except RB and CB depth:

RT - Iheanachor
Swing tackle - Trost
IOL - Morris, Trost
X-WR - Hurst
Slot WR - Heidenreich
TE - Raridon

DL depth- Konga
EDGE - Crawford
LB - Elarms-Orr
S - Stukes

Why not enjoy the fantasy for 11 more days?

We will likely all see our dreams crushed starting day 12.

Buccaneers.com tried their hand at a 7-round mock. Here's who they gave NE; I'd sum it up as "cromulent."

1.31 OT Max Iheanachor, Arizona St.
2.63 LB Josiah Trotter, Missouri
3.95 WR Ted Hurst, Georgia State
4.125 DL Cameron Ball, Arkansas
4.131 TE Marlin Klein, Michigan
5.171 EDGE George Gumbs Jr., Florida
6.191 WR Cyrus Allen, Cincinnati
6.198 S Dalton Johnson, Arizona
6.202 EDGE Nadame Tucker, Western Michigan
6.212 RB Roman Hemby, Indiana
7.247 LB Xavian Sorey Jr., Arkansas

Thanks. I learned a new word today.

Massive fail from Mike Renner:

The OTs are off the board, but R Mason Thomas over Akheem Mesidor at 31 and Caleb Tiernan at 63 is a nightmare scenario for me.

Mesidor - Stukes all the way for me if this is how the dominoes fall.

Pat Lane 7 round mock:

Not thrilled about the trade, but one could do worse than DDS and Travis Birke rounds 2-3. Some solid day 3 picks, too.

Just a heads up. It's probably a bit much for anyone but the saddest amongst us (that'll be me), but NFLSE are doing a full 7 round mock on YT tomorrow at 12 noon ET. They usually bring in guests as it goes.

Keagan Stiefel Mock Draft 4.0. The rule here: straight-up BPA.

1.31 LB CJ Allen, Georgia
2.63 EDGE Derrick Moore, Michigan
3.95 S Bud Clark, TCU
4.125 TE Justin Joly, NC State
4.131 OT Austin Barber, Florida
5.171 IOL Jeremiah Wright, Auburn
6.191 WR Cyrus Allen, Cincinnati
6.198 QB Cade Klubnik, Clemson
6.202 RB Roman Hemby, Indiana
6.212 TE Tanner Koziol, Houston
7.247 ATH Eli Heidenreich, Navy

From Draft Countdown:

1-31: EDGE T.J. Parker, Clemson
2-63: TE Sam Roush, Stanford
3-95: WR Ja’Kobi Lane, Southern Cal
4-125: OT Kage Casey, Boise State
4-131: S Genesis Smith, Arizona
5-171: CB Charles Demmings, Stephen F. Austin
6-191: LB Lander Barton, Utah
6-198: IOL Keagen Trost, Missouri
6-202: EDGE Max Llewellyn, Iowa
6-212: LB Owen Heinecke, Oklahoma
7-247: WR Jordan Hudson, SMU

Just about the last one from DraftTek.

1.31 OT Blake Miller, Clemson
2.63 WR Chris Brazzell II, Tennessee
3.95 EDGE Keyron Crawford, Auburn
4.125 CB Domani Jackson, Alabama
4.131 DT Tim Keenan III, Alabama

6.191 ILB Jimmy Rolder, Michigan
6.198 RB J'Mari Taylor, Virginia
6.202 WR Aaron Anderson, LSU
6.212 OC Pat Coogan, Indiana
7.247 OG Fernando Carmona Jr., Arkansas

Agree. I am not a AJ Brown or Raridon fan, but Pat does a solid job including the punter in R7.

2.5 hours to get through the first two rounds.

Miller and Iheanachor went off the board before we picked.

31. TJ Parker
63. Caleb Tiernan
