one point safeties are possible, albeit rare in the NFL. college had one a few years ago. Extra poitn blocked, defensive player picked it up came out of end zone and ran back in and got tackled. one point for kicking team.. For non kicking team, they would have to have a Jim MArshall type play going all the way to the other end and get tackled in their own end zone..
