That's Wolf's gameplan... young QB who sat with a bunch of young WRs. I don't know chit about Stenavich, but the day that Mayo is let go, Stenavich is getting texted from someone "close to the Patriots".
Hard to argue that.

We are taking a lot of Green Bay Philosophies if Wolf remains in the seat past Mayo.
I’m not Conviinced that Kraft will can Mayo.
Let’s just tank and have done with it.
Unless Maye can play o line, QB, And DL I don’t think we will need to tank.

If this was 25 years ago and Parcells was in his prime this is exactly the kind of team that he would be attracted to. A total rebuilding job. I'm sure there are other coaches/GM's out there who feel the same way.

Tuna created the foundation for Dynasty 1.0 here. Also had a good eye for coaching assistants, notably some guy named Bill Belichick who he introduced to RK.

I'd take Tuna's drafting for sure. His 1995 and 1996 draft classes are master classes. Ty Law, Ted Johnson, Curtis Martin, Jimmy Hitchcock and Dave Wolabaugh all in 1995. Bunch of starters, 2 HoFers, no big deal. 1996 netted Glenn, Milloy and Bruschi. Eight hits. Pretty good.

I only hope the Krafts have an actual , legitimate hiring process this time and that they will secure the advice of a couple of NFl "old hands" to advise them in setting up and running that process. I would probably prefer someone not in the "Belichick tree," but I wouldn't be categorical about it. My initial top option would be Vrabel, but I cannot claim really to know much at this point about what the options might be. I just hope the hiring process will be legit, so that we can have some trust in the candidate who emerges from that process.

Someone with experience would be nice

I think that the cap space may be less of a help than people think. The coach will be on thin ice, a number of veterans want out, the weather sucks and the state income tax doesn't help. They're probably going to have to overpay for any decent FA.

To me, it doesn't really matter, so long as it's not part of the Belichick Bubble.

They need to ACTUALLY blow it up this time, and blow out everything. You need to do this for a rebuild, half-measures are just making the team worse and worse, and this is how teams turn into the ****ing Cardinals.

Kraft will hire Mayo to run the search. He was a good player, I'm sure he'll do well.
