I am with signbabybrady - I give them an "A right now, sight unseen and players unknown. I base my grade on their past draft history.
This draft is unique in that it is VERY deep with quality waiting to be found in the mid to late rounds. That said, there is also not much difference between player slotted to go anywhere from about 17-45, I think we see NE trade down and pick up value and quality.
That makes this draft tailor made for the New England brain-trust a group that does its homework and is not afraid to make the smart moves and choices as they present themselves.
I was trying to make a joke about how people will be grading teams drafts as early as sat nite. I figured what the heck why not give a grade before the draft and get the jump on everyone.
I was not drinking the Kool-Aid (See post #2), as that was a great pre-draft call as the Pat's get top grades for draft. The trade with SF get's us Moss for free, Merriweather, upside with DT Kareem Brown etc., and add an extra 1st and 2nd RD draft picks in 2008!
