Power Ranking

Interesting! Didn't read! Thanks for posting!

That might be the worst-organized, most ridiculously illogical layout design for any page ever put up on the internet.

Of course the Patriots are #1. They are innovating the all-touchdown, no field goal offense since they have no kicker.

Well, the offense is obviously a problem as currently constructed, but it’s March. If Gronk hadn’t retired and they had signed Humphries I’d have said start printing the Super Bowl tickets now...they can’t do that yet, but they’ll figure it out like they usually do.

If you click on the arrows or the picture itself you are given a great presentation on a topic you probably never expected. It's the future!

Right now I would go...

#1 Pats
#2 PHI
#3 CLV
#4 KC
#5 NO
#6 LAR
#7 CHI
#8 SEA
#9 LAC
#10 JAX

I'm not sure how many of those teams I really believe have a shot.

JAX? Maybe their D can be what is was but the Foles magic seems to have run out.
LAC? After last year I really lost all faith in.
SEA? They will be in the mix but have they improved?
CHI? Same as SEA. Also I don't think their QB or offense is that good
LAR? The super bowl hangover is true for any non-patriots team and it will hit.
NO? Just didn't look good after week 11. I think they will have issues next year.
KC? Will probably lose Hill all year and lose 2 a lot of their pass rush.
CLV? On paper they look great but so unproven.
PHI? Now fully dependent on a QB who can't stay healthy. If ha can they're in it. IF.
Pats? Yeah... be nice to have a WR or TE or a proven LT or coaches. The D should be good though.

I stopped reading on page one...don't even care who is #2.

Lol at the Chargers at #2. The media still doesn’t get that they will never win as long as Rivers is their QB.

I guess the question is whether this is a regular season or postseason power ranking. I dislike these rankings never taking into account that lots of teams can beat average clubs with consistency but freeze against the elite competition.

After Mahomes looked comfortable in the playoffs this season, I can't believe anyone would put them behind the Chargers when Rivers looked like a deer in the headlights in the divisional round.

As long as the Patriots get some receivers in there in the next 4 weeks I feel good about our chances.

What do you think the issue is with not re-signing Ghost? Is the team not offering enough? Maybe they're not offering anything? Is Ghost trying to break the bank? It's a head scratcher to me. It seems like another team should have signed him already if the Pats are low-balling him.

Of all the issues we faced this off-season with resigning players, not having a kicker at this point was not on my radar.

Should of tried reading Pats fans in the early 2000’s. Format of All the posts were stacked and hard to read and decipher.

It's nice that they keep putting the Pats at #1. It's also a great credit to what they have accomplished that it is simply ASSUMED that regardless of the losses at TE, WR, OL, and DL, plus all the coaching losses, the team will SOMEHOW carry on.

Well that MAY be true, and we certainly have historical evidence to back that up. BUT... to have the Pats at #1 at this particular point of the season is kind of ridiculous.

That being said ANY power rating that occurs prior to the final game of the season is by definition ridiculous, since it is simply a meaningless mental exercise.

I assume Gostkowski and the Patriots have already agreed to something unofficially and are working out details. If not, it seems like he would have entertained offers elsewhere by now.

well, the rankings have had us in the top 5 for a decade at this time of year, and usually at the top of the AFC. And they've been right.
