The TD/FG ratios this postseason were remarkable.
  • The Pats scored a total of 15 TDs and 1 FG.
  • Pats' opponents scored a total of 8 TDs and 2 FGs.
  • The Ravens scored as many times as the Pats. The final score differential was entirely due to the Ravens scoring 1 FG and the Pats scoring none.
  • The Seahawks scored as many times as the Pats. The final score differential was entirely due to the Ravens scoring 1 FG and the Pats scoring none.
True:
  • There were 3 noteworthy end zone or goal line interceptions, 2 by the Pats and 1 against them, 2 of them in the red zone (exception -- Harmon vs. Flacco).
  • 3 of the TDs weren't strictly speaking in the red zone -- a 22-yard TD pass to Gronk, a 23-yard TD pass to Lafell, and the 51-yard Edelman-to-Amendola play.
Even so, the Pats' red zone offense had ungodly success, while opponents did well in the red zone too.
