Post Super Bowl Blues

Has anyone ever experienced this with the Pats? In otherwords, you get two weeks of build up. The anticipation is through the roof. Maybe you can't sleep the night before the big game. Then the game happens. And win or lose, football season is over within three hours. Have the draft to look forward to. But that's nearly three months away. It's especially difficult when you only watch Basketball during the playoffs. Hockey too. But it's difficult to get into the Bruins right now. Still upset they laid an egg in game 7.

The parade, the replays, the 3 games to glorys kept me going until the OTAs. Its been fairly empty this year but the last 3 rings has taken the sting away that I used to feel from 2005 through 2013.

Its been a nice break actually....

The Pats have played 15 extra games in Jan/Feb the last six seasons. I think the team will be better off having had these last 4-5 extra weeks off.
