The better teams have had a byes though, the teams that wouldn’t good enough to be there didn’t have em. 06 should have been there if not for absurd officiating.

Sure, everyone is flawed, but they're a lot less flawed than the rest of the league. What does a decade ago have to do with the 2018 season? Every team in the league has turned over at least 90% of its roster since then

Sorry, but it takes quite some glasses to equate a 4th and 5 conversion being up 3 points with 2:41 left to the breakdown of epic proportions that we've seen today.

I said it was a copy of this game. We gave a win away by not making the necessary plays or turning the ball over. It doesn't matter if the game ends on a dramatic final play or not.

People will focus on the last play, which of course was a complete cluster f**k, but what the hell has happened to our run D? Titans, Vikings, and now the Phins have gashed us rushing in the last month. We made old man Gore look like he was 25 again. If we can’t correct the run D this team is going no where.

Belichick saw enough of a need there to trade for Shelton, who's been so bad that he was a healthy scratch today. We just don't have competent run-stopping personnel, even average teams can reliably run on us. It's a fatal flaw.

The real shame is that this is the defense the BB has given to Brady at the end of his career. It is still absurd he drafted a RB with a first round pick when this D has so many holes.

Why not put a player whose job is to defend passes and make tackles back there instead of an offensive player? That's just an arrogant gimmick (Randy Moss got a pick that one time!) on an otherwise low percentage play that nearly got them earlier this season and bit them today.

Oh please. It’s not arrogant at all. Lots of teams do it.

The problem was doing it in a situation where the QB could not throw it to the end zone and therefore tackling and pursuit ability is what matters.

Defense and entire coaching staff should be ashamed of themselves....especially McDouche and DC....they deserved to lose and are the reason why we will struggle to do anything this year if we get to playoffs
