gives me shivers thinking about itI seriously almost blacked out when Vinatieri's kick went through the uprights. I’m not even joking.
Great post PM, not much i can add there..Depends on the mood. My favorites change like a carousel.
I will say tops are

36 Being the first one has very special meaning obviously. Cinderella story. Cemented their names as champions finally
49. Take on the bully, up against the best defense probably of the decade. Rocky 3 style win. Pretty awesome.
51. Basically, no matter how bad or insurmountable things go, keep pressing forward. The main thing that will always amaze me aside from Atlanta not running the ball was that everything had to go perfect. Everything, the defense had to hold, Hightower with the key sacks, the two point conversions had to happen and then to top it off Edelman finally makes the sort of play that has plagued the Pats out of two championships. 28-3 forever.
In a losing effort Superbowl 52 is also one of my favorites. Despite benching Butler and whatever hoopla else. Brady threw for 505 yards. It was a testament of the guys will to win. I hated the outcome knowing that had possibly Butler played, all he really had to do is stop 1 or 2 3rd down plays. He didn’t have to play great, just average. Philly went 10-16 for the day and also had the illegal end zone play. Shame, but despite the losing effort that 505 yard game will stand out along with the the 2015 Denver loss where Gronk was held in the endzone. Another courageous effort by the Goat.
I’ll say this, I wanted the Packers so bad in 07. This Pats defense was good but not great, but it was certainly built to beat a QB like Brett Favre. Belichick would of had a picasso of a game plan. Not only that but the familiarity of playing the Giants twice really played into their favor. Reminiscent of the the 01 Pats Rams. Without facing that team in the regular season I don’t think the Pats stood a chance. Very similar if you think about, really wanted a team who hadn’t been shocked by the awesomeness of the 07 offense like the Packers.Who was your favorite Super Bowl opponent for the Patriots? What I mean is, the team you wanted to see in the big game?
I'm going with the 2001 Rams. The rest:
2004 Eagles. Best team in the NFC by far. A healthy Owens and Law would've made that a great matchup.
2014 Seahawks. I would've rather have seen GB/Rodgers go head to head with the Pats, but the Seahawks were the defending champs.
2016 Falcons. Best team that year in the NFC.
2018 Rams. Would've been a better matchup had Gurley been healthy.
2003 Panthers. They had no business getting passed the Rams in the Divisional round. I think we would've seen Rams vs Pats II had they won that game.
2007 and 2011 Giants. Nobody but Giants fans wanted to see them in both games. Cowboys should've been the 2007 opponent and Packers/49ers in 2011.
Between the Packers and Giants, I wanted to see the Packers because it was better for marketing and the Pats have only beaten Favre once (2006) since 1996 season. Pats would've blown the Packers out as their defense was pedestrian.I’ll say this, I wanted the Packers so bad in 07. I think the 01 Rams or the Seahawks have to be the answer just because they had won already so it makes a more impressive win to have beat them.Who was your favorite Super Bowl opponent for the Patriots? What I mean is, the team you wanted to see in the big game?

I’m the sole butt fumble voter. I chose it because there is no single one moment for me. I love them all really and the butt fumble not really being a pats moment seemed the logical or illogical choice for me.
