Players of the Game - Patrick Chung and Rob Ninkovich

Hah!! Everybody knows that Chung gets the Game Ball, but those of us with at least a rudimentary knowledge of the game understand that Ninkovich's plays ~ all TEAM plays, much like Chung's!! ~ kept us from falling 10 or 14 points behind, early, and changed the entire character of a game that the Fish had early command of.

But nobody's expecting you to grasp that concept, pal.

Although I don't agree with your delivery I do agree that Ninkovich should get the game ball.

Anyone who has played sports at a competitive level knows that momentum is EVERYTHING.

Chung was HUGE though! The pick for the TD wasn't impressive (Chung himself admitted he was shocked when the ball was thrown right to him) but the 2 blocks were amazing.

Nink and Chung were both great. If Rob didn't pick those balls off they may have been up by 21 at halftime. Rob is the guy who started giving us momentum.
I am so happy to know that we won a game last night not by our offense. If we can continue to make some plays on defense and giving our offense more chances then it may be fine that our defense isn't all that great.
