Well, to be fair, the Jest first retooled their team to handle the 2007-2009 "Randy" Offense by building the defense around Revis and adding Cromartie. It was at least somewhat effective. While I don't think that BB jettisoned Randy and changed the scope of the offense just because of the Jest, I think that the Jest putting out a reasonable answer to the Randy Offense was a symptom of the bigger problem; the NFL had caught up to it. So, BB didn't retool his team to answer/beat the Jest specifically, but rather all 31 teams, that had started to figure it out.

i think a lot of it had to do with randy's lack of production and off the field stuff otherwise he wouldve shopped randy before/during training camp. i agree bb made moves whatever was the best way to combat the opponents but baldinger has said this before that all off season and during the season,bb made moves to catchup to the jets. last i checked, the jets were 9-7 last yr not division champs.

Baldinger is an idiot and for that reason I don't watch playbook.

Baldinger is not that bad, and knows his stuff; but I really like the other commenter, even better. And he is a great Scout, too.
