I agree, that's his choice and he has both the right to make it and the right to change his mind as well. But along with rights come consequences and obligations, and if you wish to exercise your right to communicate something others find deeply offensive, then you best be ready to defend that and have it impact upon your life as a result.

There seems to be an idea that not only does one have the right to be offensive, but that there should be no consequences stemming from offensive behaviour. I disagree with this.

Asked about his "Three Percenters" tattoo, new #Patriots draftee/K Justin Rohrwasser said he got that tattoo as a teen & thought it was a military support symbol. "Turned into something I would never want to represent. Should have done way more research on it." Will cover it.

Did he say he will cover them? If so, covering them doesn’t mean he will just wear clothes over them. Typically a person that is a fan of tattoos will never go through the removal process but instead choose to tattoo over them which is commonly referred to as ‘covering’.

That could be easy. I just read the III% group has about 10,000 members, so he can add 0.00 before the "III" to represent the 0.003% of Americans the group actually represents.

But my point is that there isn't that much in the 16 pages of this thread crushing the kid for the tattoo. It's people talking about Kaepernick and such and arguing whether the 3%ers are racist not.

I agree Brady took heat from the left wing but it wasn't even close to what Kaepernick got, and continues to get, from the right. Kaepernick isn't even in the league anymore and people are still melting about him in this thread. When was the last time you saw someone talk about Brady's hat on this board? How often does it come up now, three times a year?

There are obviously correlations between poverty, race, and crime. There's also a correlation between conviction rates and wealth level. You don't see rich white kids in court for smoking pot, or even arrested, at the same rate as poor black kids.
