PFF has its purposes but to me it's still a nerdy Dungeons and Dragons sight with a bunch of odd sided dice.
It's hard to trust in a sight that claims Mike Wright was one of the best pass rushers in the NFL during his time. For the most part I can use my own eyes to determine who is performing and who is not.
I don't think any of them are wrongfully included, but anybody expecting to see Wilfork is going to be disappointed to hear that they consider him in the very bottom of the DT rankings as opposed to the top. Can't say I agree with that.
And that is what makes them PFF, the site that actually named Kareem McKenzie the best player in football a couple of years ago. Zach Galifianakis had a name for them in Hangover 1.
They were #1 in YPA last week. Tampa surpassed them by 0.1 YPA by holding the Raiders to 2.0 YPA on Sunday. I didn't realize they surpassed the Pats this past weekend.
Maybe, maybe not; but I still don't think that Wilfork should be on the field during obvious
passing situations. He need rest, both in games & throughout the season, and giving him a breather
in favor of smaller, quicker DEs should benefit not only our pass-rush, but also his long-term health.
