Our loaded offense vs. your "defense" - sleep tight.
I agree. You gotta think after the first 75-100, King was just throwing players in whatever spot looked good.
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/writers/peter_king/08/28/the.king500/2.htmlRodney Harrison is on the phone. He is not pleased. "Two hundred thirty-sixth, huh?" he says. "That is ridiculous. There is no way I'm the 236th-best player in football. But this won't be the last mistake you've ever made, I can guarantee you that."
At this point his voice slips into a slow seethe. "But I appreciate your call, I really do," he says. "This is the motivation I need to step up my game a little more and have a great season. So thank you." You're welcome.
An exercise in futility.
Abso freakin lutely I will. Your "loaded" offense will be exposed for nthe fraud it is!
This is People Magazine b.s. It's like comparing Grace Slick, Beverly Sill, Dolly Parton, Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson, etc. as top female vocalists. If King rated by position, he'd have a lot more cred.
You're right- against Indy's "improved by subtraction" defense, the Pats offense won't look "loaded", it will look "all-world".
Look for the Colts defense to be among the league lead in take aways.
I bet I have a hard time finding that.
The Pats' offense will overmatch the Colts' defense far more than the Colts' offense could possibly overmatch our defense this year. Prepare yourself.
Rodney Harrison at 236? 70 spots behind Rex Grossman!
