I found this analysis on a draft site. I thought it was well done and thought I'd share. Its been 6 years and by this time you are what you are. It is pretty scary to see how many failures there were.

-Great article. Thanks for sharing. It just goes to show that in the draft, the 80-20 rule applies to a large extent. Teams bring in an average of 8-9 players each year but out of a 53 man roster, if you can have 2-3 players from each draft class become solid contributors to your team, you really are doing pretty well.

In 5 years or so, who will those 2-3 players from the 2006 draft be? Maroney, Jackson, Thomas, Mills, Gostkowski? We'll see.
