For years the Patriots tendency on 3rd and 2, 3, 4, and 5 has been to empty the backfield and throw some quick hitter right at the sticks. We all know the infamous examples of this strategy failing at the biggest moments. Would love to see them pump fake and go deep with Hernandez if this situation comes up in the SB. I think they did this once this year, although it was on 4th down, I believe.
