Thanks Andy... of course it'd be fine to talk about whether the Pats should spend that pick, and it wouldn't require a trick Title... even though I think it'd be a short discussion.

As far as mcbee's attention seeking desire to have his opinion considered, most talking heads seem to indicate that as much as Brooks is a potential team cancer, the talent is there and that someone will take a chance and be forced to over"pay" if they want him.

As such a 2nd round pick is not out of the question - 3rd round is more likely but anyone who wants him is taking a chance in the 3rd.

The thought that he would last til the 5th - I've never heard that before... and will be shocked if it happens. wondering where McBee gets that info from

He might only be worth a 5th rounder to the Pats given his downside, but to think that all teams will pass on him until then? That's a helluva prediction that I think has little chance of coming to be.
