Pro playbooks apparently just complicate things for no reason. Didn't you hear?

I know he's just camp fodder, but what's the point of signing a guy who can't learn a simpler offense's playbook? Maybe Belichick just wants to make sure the corners are getting their TC reps against NFL-caliber athletes, then will cut the guy once that's done.

Did some digging as I was curious..

Hawkins did have a 3.1GPA in HS but didn't meet the ACTs so he went to a JuCo after HS.

With that said, Hawkins scored ok on the Wonderlic (23)
