Yesterday I waxed rhapsodic on the release of Darnell Bing - I like him as a young version of Lynch/RodneyTank - could it be that Bing will ding in Foxboro?

While I don't know if I trust a guy from NY that supposedly has a "guy in New England," this dude's info is that the Pat's are waiting to re-sign Lynch as discussed earlier in this thread. Maybe he's just been reading Patsfans.com!!

Yeah, perhaps "my guy in New England" is code for "patsfans.com"!

The one major oversight in the first nj.com story (about Lynch) is that the writer has the two team's cap situations reversed. He calls the Pats, who are about $6 million under the cap "cash strapped ... and are trying to free up some money" yet then goes on to say "unless the Jets woo (Lynch) with an offer he can't refuse" while neglecting to address the fact the Jets have no cap space remaining after signing Favre.
