Gotta think Ortiz gets the call given his experience in the system, right? Likely elevated when Welker gets officially IR'd. For a team that runs the spread and is thin at WR, you'd hope they would have already had a WR on the PS, but I suppose the Tampa Bay Nunn signing really screwed them.

But he did clear waivers to get back to the PS, and the Patriots had their chances to promote him, but they chose to pull Stanback up instead.

Actually, Nunn was still on the Patriots after Galloway was cut.

I am wondering if either Ortiz or Moore will be activated for teh game..It certaonly could be a Saturday last minute situation, but who would go in that case?? Is Connolly's injury severe enough for IR?? He's not at practice..and they could know that and only do that late..so that it's a quiet move..maybe they wish to see which is better for situations. With only 4...Edelman/Moss an dStanback and Aiken..who may be banged up some..they need another.
