Gonzo has not been great in zone. He gets all the false hype from technical man stats. He absolutely needs to be better.
If he's man vs. Flowers, I'm not that worried, but I am seriously concerned with our inability to cover TE's. Likely & Andrews could eat us up. And if Jones is out, we'll have Woods - who is not goods.
I think we're underestimating how bad our run D has been, and Lamar & Henry are the wrong team to face with our decimated front 7. Missing Williams, Spillane & maybe Elliss & Landry wounded. Not good.
It will take a dominant offensive game to win - and I don't think we have that with a very bad run blocking OL.

I will say it again: I will be be somewhat Shocked if Maye don't have over 300 yds on Sunday. I think we are going need production along those lines. We have to try to outscore them hopefully we get some tips that lead to picks.

I stopped reading after someone said "the Patriots have to prove they can a beat good teams". Are the Ravens a Good Team??

It's a good question.

While they've won 6 of their last 8, their wins vs teams w/ winning records have been vs CHI (cupcake schedule) who has two wins vs winning teams. I think they are decent but very beatable.

My concerns about this game are more about our crappy run D vs good RBs and running quarterbacks than the Ravens.

The secondary doesn't have a benefit of a pass rush so therefore the coverages get exploited..

Gonzo needs front 7 help so he can take more opportunities to make plays on the ball.. just his contemporaries in Stingley Jr. And Surtain the 2nd have..

This won't happen until next season.

The CBS are being asked to play man and zone.. I get the switching up to keep offenses off tilt however Vrabel said he wanted to play cat coverage they haven't done that this season.

Darrelle Revis has 29 career interceptions in 12 full seasons.
Stephon Gilmore has 32 career interceptions in 14 seasons.

This seems to be another blind spot for you with counting stats vs. actual performance on the field.

D-Hop been kinda quiet this year we know he's nearing the end. That said IF he ever goes off on Sunday based on the season he's having: Our Team have serious problems.

He's quite familiar with Vrabel as a coach.

I am personally a little sad Hopkins fell off a cliff after he left the Texans, I really loved his game.

Or you could kick Landry inside and have Vrabel back at Edge.

I think Vrabel could give you 10 better quality snaps at Edge than Matt Judon at this point.

No win will ever be enough for anyone unless we make it to the Super Bowl, tbh. There are big flaws with most AFC teams. No one will give you credit for beating Bo Nix, no one will give you credit for winning a home game vs Houston, and we probably aren't facing Buffalo unless it's the AFCCG anyway. I've stopped caring what people think about the quality of the team's wins. I know they can win the conference. Just need the games to be played

The AFC is wide open: Playoffs games are when things get very tight. We'll see who have Ice water in their veins.
