Anyone remember what the 2nd rounder for Jimmy G turned into? was it the Detroit + other later pick
It was traded around and amounts to Chicago's 2nd rounder this year(pick 56).
Plus other picks garnered and then flip flopped, big brain teaser.

Let's see:

  • NE trades Garoppolo to SF for 2.43.
  • NE trades 2.43 to DET for 2.51 and 4.117.
  • NE trades 2.51 to CHI for 4.105 and 2019 2.56.
  • NE trades 2.63 and 4.117 for 2.56 [Duke Dawson].
  • NE trades 4.105 to CLE for 4.114 and 6.178 [Christian Sam].
  • NE trades 4.114 to DET for 2019 3.72.
So they turned that pick into Christian Sam, about 20% of Duke Dawson, and 2.56 and 3.72 in this year's draft.

Pure Ownage

Is the 20% of Duke Dawson the part that was injured?

Lewis' departure would have netted a 6th at best but was offset by the signing of Clayborn

OTC does a great job with the compensatory projections & explanations year after year
Who? Raymond came out of retirement? We're not thin at CB. Not sure why.
Anyways, that's awesome we get some end of 3rd rounders plus Detroit's third and Chicago's 2nd. I haven't followed the draft prospects as much this year. Time to catch up. I do know it's loaded with DL through the first and top of second. We could use help there now. Wouldn't mind Anthony Johnson out of Buffalo in the second. Big and fast and catches stuff.
There will be trades. Just have to come up with an over under. Too soon for that.

I got excited with all these picks until I realized...No 6th rounder. No Brady successor this year.
