Pats/Jags Game Plan, Breakdown ...

I think we see this as well. We can stop the run from and make em pay if Bortles gets sloppy deep.
Rewatching the game now ... he's feasting on the Steelers with play action and when he drops back he kind of sucks.
But the Steelers could not contain Fournette or didn't think they had to until it was too late.

I love digging in. The more you do the more confident I feel about a New England win.

I remember how strong I felt about Seattle over Denver a few years back after digging in

I'm rewatching the Pittsburgh/Jags game, and we have to shut down the run game and make Bortles beat us deep. It's pretty simple.

The Steelers were passing the ball pretty easily as well.

I honestly think Jax defense will keep them competitive for most of the game, but Bortles won't be able to make enough plays for them to win and may make many mistakes throwing the ball.

Even if we fall behind a score or two, this team is the kind of team Brady comes back against. Their defense will be taking short breaths by middle of the third and suddenly those tight windows will open up, the hurry-up will become fluid and they'll sputter out.

I don't expect them to fall behind two scores, though.

I respect them but the more I look into it. Thoughts & ideas confirmed. I feel very good.

I think this defense has a day.

From that great article Uptown shared

3+ WRs: 39% success rate allowed, 5.0 YPA, 59 rating

2 WRs or less: 55% success rate allowed, 9.6 YPA, 99 rating

I think we play a lot of zone as well and keep everything in front of us.

Uptown shared this and it's worth reading. Tons of good info and you can trust our coaches our looking at a lot of what's in here and this thread.

Jags game plan as of this afternoon.......hit Brady in the throwing hand.....

Couldn’t help myself

Seriously what WR is getting open from that team? Gilmore is ****ting down any B-league WR they throw at him and Hurns isn’t any good

Chatham also finsihed his deep dive into the matchup on his podcast. It is up since yesterday and again well researched.

It gets at times somewhat technical so it might not be the best podcast to listen to on the side.
