This week the Patriots face the very real possibility of losing two games in a row, something they haven't done since they dropped back to back games against Tennessee and the Jets in 2002.

It's been quite a run, let's hope it continues.

Turnovers will be very much a key to this game, although it is usually big in any game but when you face a talented laden team like Cincinnati you better force turnovers on the plus side or you will not beat those guys, they have yet to make many mistakes and we must strip the ball out of Carson or Rudi's hand at least once or twice-If we can force some fumbles and maybe get some picks (which have become rare for us the past year & a half) we have a chance- no turnovers give us a minimal opportunity to win - minus on the turnovers and we lose our 4 year streak

They did not make the playoffs that year. They obviously have been every year since.

I doubt the Patriots are going to pull it off this weekend. They just don't have their stuff together right now.

I'm not concerned if they lose this very losable game this weekend.

I'd be happy for them to go into the bye week at 3-2. Get their act together with the new WR's (and hopefully a healthy Kazcur and P. Pass to replenish the ranks) and come out gunning down the relatively easier last 11 games (save for Indy and J'ville - the Bears are pretenders).

Keep 'em healthy for the playoffs and let 'em loose.

It would suck to lose two in a row but as long as we're 3-2 going into the bye, we're fine. We're in a sucky division which gives us a large margin for error so while byes and seedings are important, the most important thing is to get our sh!t together heading into the playoffs and there's lots of time for that.

Is the Cincy game a lock to lose? Seriously. Granted they're a good team but I think the Pats can match up with them. They are 3-0 because they played KC and Cleveland to open their season and had a bone to pick with the Steelers. It's turning into a pretty good rivalry. I just don't think that they are unstoppable. I see a bunch of nickel and dime packages and force them to run or something similar. Not to mention the fact that Corey Dillon will be pretty pumped up to face his old team even after a few years. I'm not trying to say it's a lock for the Pats but I don't think they're going to mail it in either. I think the staff will game plan and do what they always try to do. Take away what the other team does best and exploit it. Look what happened to Chad Johnson this week when the Steelers took him out of the game. It's still early in the season and I think the Patriots will come around. They will be competitive.
