So the Pats vs Giants game is going to be on NFL network and if you have Time Warner your **** out of luck.

This was never a problem for me as I use to have direct tv but when I moved this was no longer a possibility, but I was under the impression that it wouldn't affect me because I live in the Patriots market (Maine)

However Im a bit confused, will I be getting this game or is only the "Boston" market going to get this game?

Im fairy positive that this is a violation of contractual obligation.

New England Patriots certainly doesn't mean Boston or Mass only, I think this gets changed if the Pats actually go into that game 15 and 0

If not it's an excellent excuse to head for the nearest sports bar. Get there early, cop a great seat, have a decent meal, then sit back and nurse pitchers for the season capper.

Here in So Cal, I will probably hit the Laguna Hills Claim Jumper or the Fox Sports Grille in the Irvine Spectrum Center.

It should be a great night....Fox Sports Grill will be loaded...the Orange County Patriots Fan Club has had some massive turnouts this season.

GO PATRIOTS!!!!

So, what if I'm in western mass, but I get WBCN channel 5?
Plus the Albany stations.

"Contractual obligation"?

Boston is considered the Patriot home market, not every market in NE.

Word is that you might be out of luck. If your cable company gets you the Boston ABC but you're not considered part of the market, it'll be blacked out. If you can get it with an antenna you'd be OK but most wouldn't want that. I'm not sure where the technical border of the Boston market would be.

I don't have NFL, but everyone here is going to have it on Channel 5, whatever that is (abc?)

That sounds like a cop out if you ask me, after all the Patriots don't even play in Boston.

So how can anyone argue that it's Bostons market and then turn around and say that Bostons market isn't New Englands market?

They are called the New England Patriots, so I can only assume that the market is New England, afterall, the Boston Red Sox are Maines and the rest of New Englands team, other then some parts of Conn and Vermont.

Maine gets all of New Englands games, can we say the same for California or Texas? So to say that they can't have the Pats game is crazy, it's worst then having your team play a home game in England.

I'd really rather not have to go to a bar.
I manage to get good and drunk just fine at home on the couch.
