Milt and Barmore should cause some havoc. Go get an edge rusher or two and draft Hunter and the D should be noice. Throw in a ILB too.

I think with this draft and FA, they can most immediately address defensive woes, particularly the DL. Obviously they should still push for fixing the offense, but I think we can see the defense really turn around.

I think Barmore is done. Which makes signing someone like this all the more important. I doubt it'll happen until I see it happen. He'll probably take less money to go to a more competitive and stable situation.

Wolf said Barmore has been working out and is in good football shape is doing well in his recovery and wants to come back.

This puts into perspective how far away we are from being able to seriously compete for super bowls again. He’s a backup player for the Eagles and we’re talking about paying him $20M/year. It just shows how far we are from being on that level.

He’s a really good player the Eagles have a lot of depth on that D line, Williams is ready for more snaps and a more prominent role.
He dominated the KC o line.

I think it’s more a credit to how good Philly is that their backups are earning that much. That is, assuming, that $20M is his market rate and not just what a huge overpay that it would take for the Pats to sign him.

I thought he's a starter? Williams, Davis, Carter who am I missing?

I Wonder if he can be a three down DT and play against the run too which if he is looking for 20 mio is absolutely a must

Add Landry to the edge and we got a semblance of the 03, 04 D. I'm concern about my guy Barmore though SBB... yesterday on NBC sports Boston breer mentioned that some high in the organization felt that he may have been fast tracked to returning early last season.

Hope so. He fills a need in a big way. Good player, wrecked the Chiefs in the big game.

He would be a good addition, but it would also signal a change in philosophy to smaller , quicker DL. Williams is 6’3 290, and Vrabel liked them considerably larger in Tennessee.

Yes we are one-gap, aggressive, penetrative defense now. The DL sets the edges while the LBs can be free to handle backs and TEs. I absolutely embrace the switch.

Here are the details of what the Gurls just signed Osa Odighizuwa for

The size is about having different tools in the toolbox. Philly has a mix. Jalen Carter is 6'3 and 314. Jordan Davis is 6'6 and 336. The are the anchors for the middle. The rest are around 300lbs or lower.
