ATTN: OK Guys, Help Us Out

Hey Guys,

I just received an e-mail from SI.com, and we've been nominated as one of the top four Patriots fan sites in this week's Sports Illustrated. This poll apparently is included as part of the NFL Preview issue, which features scouting reports on all 32 teams. For each team, they are asking readers to choose the best of four fan sites. The winning site - the one with the most votes - will be featured on SI.com's new Patriots team page.

Ummmm I voted for patsfans.com, but it still says Patsfans.com has recieved no votes and Patriots Planet is leading the poll with 97% of the votes (the other three to Nefans.com. What gives??

i honestly cannot vote for this board. within the last 6 months this board has become no better than the others. i didnt vote for any of them.

My guess is that someone using an Anonymous IP on a bot voted many times for Patriots Planet.

Its now showing 3% for Patriots.com, 5% of NEFans.com and 92% for Patriots Planet.

I know Patriots Planet is good, but do they REALLY have that many more people than this board?

I had contacted SI.com regarding the poll and was told that the voting will update every half hour to an hour.

They may have found out about it yesterday so they have a headstart. The e-mail I received came in yesterday afternoon and I didn't hear back until late today.
