Patriots waive Earl Charles

I guess the Pats just forgot him when they released the other two Reserve/NFL Europe reservists a few days ago:

The Patriots waived running back Earl Charles. The former Marshall star didn't play after sustaining an injury in NFL Europe last spring.

I guess the strange part is that he got hurt in Europe two years in a row (2005, 2006), and then was cut in spring 2007.

Cedric James got hurt in Europe two years in a row (2004, 2005), and then was cut in spring 2006.

Meh, Williams was signed later on in the summer, was cut, re-signed, practiced some, and got hurt again.

Charles, Ventrone, and Smith all haven't played or practiced for an NFL Americano game since August 2005.
