I saw posts about Montgomery not sure if he was making the team or if he was washed up....looks like he is a roster lock and performing well so far.

I think at worst he's our Bolden replacement: ST guy who can play a hybrid RB role in a pinch. At best he's the 3rd down back with White retiring (though I think we're all hoping that either Strong wins that job, or Stevenson expands more of that part of his game).

Wynn better get his overpaid azz back on the field.

I don't know why but some would disagree with your factual statement. To each his own I guess BB is known as gambler but he Lost in picking up the Wynn option no pun intended.

The good news is that his contract is done at the end of this year, so he's going to be a free agent next year to sign where he wants.
I hope we don't IR him Joke-Juan Williams he has stolen enough money already.

Add Herron to that list. He is working on the rehab field again and I think it's safe to say that Cajuste has passed him on the depth chart.
The sad thing with Wynn is I don't think another GM in their right minds would want to pick up that contract for an underachieving player...too bad for us. But stranger things have happened.

Nobody would disagree with that.
Wynn has played well but Cajuste has been even better, bearing in mind its still tc. But with Wynn's hefty price tag, it's not inconceivable he could lose his gig to Cajuste if Yodney continues to shine thru preseason and Wynn continues to sit in the tub

One year 10 million for a starting tackle wouldn’t be too hard for another team to absorb. If someone suffers an injury to a starting tackle he would be easy enough to move.

If he is healthy and motivated, he's not a bad player. We've seen what he can do. The issue is his attitude, motivation and his ability to stay healthy.

My only real problem with this is Herron is also hurt and hasn't been having the best camp. So even if you feel good with Cajuste as your starting RT, you now don't have a real backup, unless you count Durant.

Hoping to see a lot of this during the season:

Excellent point, you need 3 tackles at a minimum, you can't let Wynn go if you aren't comfortable/confident in Herron and that's assuming you're good with Cajuste.
