Sounds like the D is having their way with the O two days in a row...

Curious whether Jennings and Uche have been playing edge or ILB (or both, in which case I'm curious what the ratio is).

I thought I heard it mentioned on Unfiltered that Uche was at OLB but I don't know about Jennings.

No run game, no play-action and by now the defense has seen all the (limited) routes they are repping.

But seeing our corners have been viewed as the weak link on the team, today was encouraging. And Jonathan Jones still to come

I wonder if the offense is out of sync because of the new coaching staff...

"This marked one of the best practices for third-year linebacker Anfernee Jennings, who blew up three plays in a row by rushing off the edge."

I think it’s Bentley, MacMillan, Macgrone, and Wilson inside, and Uche, Jennings, Judon, and Perkins outside.

The first preseason game is only 12 days away.

If Jennings emerges that could be great for depth behind Judon and improved pass rush as a whole. We need one more true OLB who can be physical on the edge but mobile enough to cover in the flat.

I think you're right, with the lone exception possibly being Uche. He might be an all purpose LB, a jack of all trades who can play anywhere. We'll see if he has improved and can stay healthy.

Nah, they played in the middle of the field today instead of the redzone, which was a marked difference. It also seems to be getting more and more physical even without hitting, so the defense is maybe finding their groove. Real football doesn't begin until Monday, but the offense was having their way with the defense early, time for some payback.

Early training camp is like the glass half full. Some people see it as good that both the offense and defense are having their moments and challenges. Others see it as a problem with our play calling or the talent of our secondary/wrs.

And we don’t know if BB intentionally made things more difficult on the Offense. Now is the time to create a struggle there.

I Was in the house today.

Thought Jonnu Smith looked good. Few nice grabs..showed his speed some today.

Thorton looks better than I imagined. On 1 vs 1's he held his own.

Malcom Butler looked like vintage , hands in your chest talking smack, Malcom Butler.

Terrence Mitchell ...someone to keep any eye out for. Popped a few times.

Jakobi Meyers and Hunter Hunter picking up where they left off.

Parker in the red zone should be fun.

Hard to judge DLine and online properly ...Damien Harris was catching the ball well..same for Stevenson.

Ty Montgomery, another guy to keep an eye out on.

I say this everytime I see him but..holy crap Trent Brown is huge.

It was a hot one!
