Media reports are not relevant data upon which to base conclusions. Lets see the OL group in actual game action before declaring any portion thereof dead and buried.

I'm with you my friend and I share your passion. But let's not just be so quick just to refute the media. They are useful as parts of camp and other sessions are often not accessible to the general public. However I'm a fan of the eye test. As you stated let's see when week 1 comes right..

I will fully admit I am biased against (particularly sports) media. There are scant few within it in the era of 240 or less characters that are not focused more on clicks and views than delivering unbiased observations. The desired outcomes of today's media have little or nothing to do with educating and informing the populace.

In short, it's not much different than you or I posting here - with the difference being our ability to put food on the table doesn't rely upon leveraging emotion to garner reaction. (at least I THINK it doesn't...)
