Never seen that done like he did it before it was crazy. Those two plays. I know one ended up being incomplete because it couldn’t be as accurate and I don’t remember on the second one. I think it was dropped by the receiver.Maye has the arm to regroup and then fire it to someone else. Nice change of pace compared to Mac, who didn't have that same ability. Maye's a strong kid. Good stuff.
This has been the narrative for 3 years running now. Not sure why it needs to be pointed out every summer.I think it's worth mentioning that not only is the defense usually ahead of the offense at this point in camp, but also that while the defense (I assume) is largely going to be running the same concepts and schemes that they've been running for years, the offense is implementing a completely new system down to the basic fundamentals. I'd be shocked if the offense was even close to on-par with the defense in July.
