Patriots success "stale story"

This article infuriated me.

Basically said Brady always getting to SB is overshadow more interesting stories like "Ezekiel Elliot early success, and Watson in Houston"... ummmm sounds a bit...

How the New England Patriots Success is Bad for the NFL

BB and Brady with Kraft not meddling, have destroyed the NFl as we all used to know it.

Expect continued collusion to continue to find ways to attempt to weaken them.

Kraft caught in the middle....wants more money and international expansion but his own team is proving that parity is destroyed.

Honestly,

What Jason "I Live in my Moms Basement" McIntyre thinks.

Why are you linking the article? If you're going to post garbage stories like that, at the very least, use an archive.is link. Otherwise, you're just giving them clicks.

Never mind

Meh, from the standpoint of a league that would like to see 32 winners in 32 years and lazy journalists that want Cinderella stories that write themselves & clicks from people that need to learn about a team the Pats are 'bad' for the league. Heck even the haters are getting worn out by New England's dominance. Can't tell you how sorry I feel for them...

My sentiment about the vilification of the Pats is also summed up in my signature.

How the NFL and ESPN are Bad for Football

Yeah if only more time was spent on celebrating the success of a guy on the Cowboys who beats women..

Maybe if they weren't so busy trying to tear it down and tried to understand how remarkable and why this team continues to succeed, they'd come to an understanding and profound level of understanding.

Nobody said life had to be fair. Talent, effort and commitment get you ahead. So why is it that these guys are that much more successful. We super fans tend to have a good grip on it, but even we don't know the full story.

Obviously the writer is from Texas. Carson Wentz a much better story than Prescott. Butthurt in spades.

It probably is bad for ratings just because people love those vintage hollywood underdog stories but I think that kind of puts a fork in the "NFL is rigged" tin-foil hat ideas that are out there.

I'd rather see a team that has already won the Superbowl win it, anyway. Keep it an exclusive group.

People watch Patriots games to see them lose. But they are watching. How is that bad?

BTW, can somebody, who already clicked it, do that?

I wont click it.

I would appreciate it. Thanks

Ratings are down overall for games but patriots games still get the best rating. What this says is people are in denial. They hate the patriots but still watch them. Plus they are so bad for the nfl that they still get the most media coverage. Hypocrites.

Most of those shows on BSPN and FS1 have feasted on the Pats for material all season long. There's a cottage industry in the media on covering the Pats, and when Brady goes, they're going to have to invent stories, like the dipshit in the OP's link (which I didn't click).

LOL, this line freaking killed me

The problem is New England’s unprecedented run of sustained success has pushed the NFL’s best stories the last two years – Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott at the Cowboys; Deshaun Watson and all the talented young QBs – to the backburner again

SERIOUSLY????

Prescott was pedestrian at best in year two and Im sure more then a couple fans wished they could pull Romo out of the press box and put a uniform on him. Elliot was suspended for much of the year and the Cowboys didn't sniff the playoff. Exactly what was the story there that got pushed to the back burner???

Watson looked great in the limited action he was seen in before the injury. But have we not seen enough flash in the pan QBs who collapse once teams get film on them over the last 50 years to... I don't know, wait to see if they can atleast put... 2 good full seasons before annointing them???

And Watson was injured for the last half of the season.

Again, what exactly was getting pushed to the back burner???

The Patriots making the Superbowl has not pushed these stories to the back burner. THERE WERE NO STORIES TO PUT ON THE BACK BURNER!!!!!!! Sour grapes from yet another "journalist" I have never heard of, on a website I have never heard of.

And yet the author finds himself writing about the Patriots...hilarious.

The worst Felger take of this year so far has been to the extent of this

"Patriots fans, aren't you mad you're not playing the Steelers? Don't you want the best match ups and entertaining games? Who cares anymore, you won 5, shouldn't you root for the hardest road? You really get joy out of being the Jags?"
