Stop just saying **** to try and support a narrative. Why do you say he hasn't been right?
Buffalo has created the narrative that he was the problem. People are falling for it.

What are you guys currently watching? Mrs and I burned thru Landman, Billy Bob Thornton chews the scenery. That was good. We are following along with 1923. Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren are great. The young woman that plays Alexandra is the perfect amount of crazy and hot. We are also watching the other Taylor Sheridan show Lioness, which is also entertaining, maybe a little Sheridanesque in it's formula.
Tulsa King and Reacher are pretty good. Shogun was nice as well if you want to experience Japan setting.

It’s a great deal for Diggs and a decent one for the Pats. They overpaid but you need to when you can’t draft. If he’s healthy I expect a couple good years out of him, and hopefully by the end of year two into year three he’s the #2 behind the future #1
Plus we don’t have Brady and Belichick anymore. We need star players and will need to pay for them. I’m not saying we didn’t have some star players during that era but back then we could get away with not having a WR 1. This was a great move.

Now you're just stirring up **** to stir up ****. Breaking Bad is arguably the best show to be on TV. I will grant you Saul a continuation of same, but it's not better. Equal? Sure.

Ok, no hyperbole now. I have heard great things about The Wire but have not watched it. But I'll stand with BB.
Strange fact: A guy (detective) on my old PD actually help write the scripts for a few seasons for The Wire.

His numbers the last few years look good to me.

2024: 47 receptions, 496 yds, 3 TD’s ( injured in week 10)
2023:107 receptions, 1,183 yds, 8 TD’s
2022: 108 receptions, 1429 yds, 11 TD’s
And maybe he forgot about these numbers too..

I've enjoyed Tulsa King. Can't take it too seriously and it's maintained my interest.

Seen the previews for Mobland? That's next for us on March 30th. Once we get thru Lioness and Shoresy. Right, @maust ?

Yea that looks real good.

Tom Hardy is a wacko. Loved him in Peaky Blinders and the other movie he played twin mobsters.

"Give your balls a tug"
I may never forgive you for Shoresy

"F*ck you, @maust , your mom asked me to pull her hair and then hit me up for a hundo when her extensions came out."

I really, really, really hated the Kevin Finnerty parts. There were also a few tropes throughout the show that annoyed me, like their affinity for watching black-and-white TV shows and films. I know it was meant to be some artistic representation of the story as it was being told but I didn't find it realistic that Meadow and AJ would be watching that **** too in their spare time.
You kind of missed the point of the season then.

The Caberet....been there once. Lots of bikers there IIRC.
I've probably been to strip clubs only 6 0r 7 times in my life. Once in the Combat Zone when I was very young and a couple of times each at the Cabaret, the Squire in Revere (a very bad place) and once in Myrtle Beach. The last time, about 20 years ago, I had to be talked into going to the Cabaret on the way back from golf. Strip clubs are not my cup of tea.

My favorite biker story came at a bar on Revere beach about 40 years ago. Two Hell's Angel's are sitting at the bar with a police detail nearby and a young drunk walks over to the bikers and says, "hey, you don't look so tough." They ignore the kid so he says it again, louder. One of the bikers then reaches into his pocket, takes out one of the biggest guns I've ever seen, puts it in the kid's face and says, "do I look tough now kid." Apparently the cop on duty had already called the cruiser and they took the kid right out. To this day the kid probably doesn't know how lucky he was that day.

I think it was actualy the Hells Angels that provided "protection" for the Caberet...not sure.

The Squire....I think my buddies and I went there 2 weeks before the mob hit. August of '92 IIRC. Yea...scary. We didn't know better.

I struggled with Sopranos after S5.
The worst ending of any series ever. I'm still pissed about it. But I wouldn't let that drop them down my list.

Here's my top whatever;
Breaking Bad
Game of Thrones
Sopranos
Band of Brothers
Better Call Saul
Curb Your Enthusiasm
Succession
Two and a Half Men
Seinfeld
The Wire
Fargo
True Detective
Cosmos
The Twilight Zone

Not enjoying it doesn’t mean I didn’t get what they were trying to do.
I will admit I am a huge Sopranos fan and have watched the show countless times so I am probably biased but I don't never understood why so many people didn't like that episode. I get that some people just wanted a mafia show where they whack each other but I always enjoyed this episode delving into Tony's psyche. The whole city/town "Kevin Finnerty" was in as a sort of purgatory, Steve Buschemi as the grim reaper, the kids voices calling through the trees (the trees are a whole new rabbit hole I could go down), and just the eerie feeling as he approaches the inn.

I loved that "what if" storyline but I realize I am in the minority as far as fans of the show go.

I'm not sure of the name of the place we saw the Hells Angels but it was just down the street from Kelly's Roast Beef and a joint called Eddie Mac's. It might have been called the Rosebud at the time.

I was at the Squire twice. The first time a brawl broke out between two groups of guys. The second time I was walking out after the bartender yelled for a bouncer because she took half my beer and I said something. That was when I saw two guys get dragged out after buying food but not a drink. As they were dragging them out one of the bouncers was kicking one of the guys in the nuts. I found out later that one of the men came back and stabbed the bouncer. Not a great place to go really.
