Love how people always try to make it seem like it's somehow a favour to the player.

Has nothing to do with allowing him anything. Purely about production not justifying the cap savings.
 
Just a shame that this FA class stinks on the offensive side at a time when we have all this space.
And that the cap was raised to the whole league allowing Pittman and Higgins to Franchsed. There’s going to be some very mediocre WRs breaking the bank.

Offense FA’s…Onwenu, Mayfield, Ridley…maybe a trade for Jeudy, an RB…
 
Saves a lot of cap space, I would still like to re sign him for less later on if possible.
