The "Boogeymen" not so much.Shows how stacked the 03/04 defense was. 2/3rds of the defenders on that list were on those 2 teams.
branch should be an honorable mention at least. As good and clutch as amendola was branch did more in both regular season and postseason.
If they could place two long snappers on the team, they could certainly place two kickers, the guys they were snapping for, on the team. And there is no doubt that Ghost had a bigger impact than either snapper. Also remember that he was far better with his kickoffs than was AV.Choosing between Vinatieri and Ghost is a tough one- I think they got it right though going with AV. Without AV, probably no first dynasty.
Besides the murderer, I've noticed 4 other guys who did not make any list (2000s/2010s/all dynasty team):
Ted Washington
Brian Waters
Darrelle Revis
Dion Lewis
The first 3 probably because they were viewed as mercenaries, and I assume people feel James White's overall body of work surpasses the short peak of Dion Lewis.
True. It is a tough call. AV was here for 4 years in the dynasty, Gost for 13. Just hard to overlook the kicks AV made for us to help win those early SB's.If they could place two long snappers on the team, they could certainly place two kickers, the guys they were snapping for, on the team. Dion Lewis was really only great for 7 games of the 2015 season. As amazing as he looked then, I am shocked that anyone would even consider placing him over James White. White is also an outstanding player in addition to his longevity.
It's a shame that Lewis's career was compromised by injuries and being constantly overlooked. If he'd stayed healthy, he might have been one of the best running backs of the 2010s.
Tbh, I think his productivity from 2015-17 should have landed him more consideration.
Dion Lewis made NFL postseason history with his 3 touchdowns
Lewis had a big performance in a big game.www.sbnation.com
One of 3 Patriots with over 1000 yards from scrimmage in 2017 along with Gronk and Cooks. Average 5 ypc in 2017. I like James White but he was never close to the runner Dion was. I digress, no wrong pick here.

Lewis was way better and he makes White look like a stiff athletically. He was electric with the football. White has just been around longer.I like Dion Lewis but he was never close to the receiver James White is.
