Patriots re-sign Gemara Williams (ERFA)

The Patriots officially signed exclusive rights free agent Gemara Williams on Thursday. A defensive back, Williams spent some time with the team in 2006 training camp, before sustaining an injury. He is a longshot to make the club, and will look to initially make his mark on special teams.

Excellent! I was the inaugural member of the the Gemera Fan Club last year when I was pulling for him to be the new Hank Poteat for the Patriots!

I'd love to see him earn a position this year...
