Well that's pretty much my point. When I used the term " cash concerns" I was speaking only of actual cash, obviously not of cap hit. I wouldn't say he costs "nothing," but your point remains the same. It would be up to the team to decide if that decision would be worth a waste of whatever smaller money it would entail.
I honestly have no idea how little the money would be. You could tell me it'd be 10k, 25k, 50k, etc...I know it's very small, but I'm not sure of the actual specifics of the options and what the cost would be.
The main question would be whether they would agree to squat on his rights while still having him as a member, which would obviously cost some cash money until placed on the non reporting list--if that's what they chose to do.
I'm sure there have been plenty of discussions about some of these thoughts in the other thread about him, I just haven't read it yet.
