I think it might be Jonathon Kraft who runs the twitter feed. I base this speculation on a twitpic that was posted during halftime of a home game last year. The pic looked like it was taken from the general area where the Kraft's always sit.

Question....Do you guys watch the games with your cell phones by your side, anxious to read others' opinions of your your seeing?

As you've probably noticed the game-day threads are pretty popular. So it's not a stretch to imagine that folks with patsfans.com open on their laptops or whatever have a bunch of other tabs open. Really just an extension of patsfans.com, eh? Comparing opinions and stuff?

Personally I would prefer to see the team's official twitter feed resemble press releases. That is, attempt to keep it business-like, more neutral, and less inflammatory. Then if they really want to say something like that, an individual such as one of the PFW guys can comment. I would have thought that whomever the employee is that runs the twitter account would have been instructed to keep it more straight-laced, but perhaps I am wrong; maybe they considered the twitter audience to be one where they could let loose far more than on traditional press releases and press conferences.

Regardless, I think Breer completely overreacted. It's not as if what was stated was not factual. A little over the top, but it was a big win for the team against a division rival. It's difficult to not consider Breer's dour outlook for the team and his primarily negative comments about them for the last few months; it's tough to consider him an impartial and neutral observer at this point.

Doen't bother me but it does give Patriots haters more fuel for their eternal flames.
