That's like giving a shoutout to your dad as best dad, none of the other 3 billion dads out there are going to take offense.Jack Jones saluting our late Joker? Lol
Point taken. I don't know if I'd put Pierce on that pedestal but that "best coach in America" isn't in NE anymore.
I don't even really see Grier as an option. So it comes down to Mac and Zappe. Problem is I believe Mac still gives the better chance to win. However on the flip side I also believe Mac has sucked enough that it's probably time to give Zappe a shot at starting again if not just as a shot in the dark to see what he can do given true shot without Mac sucking for 3 quarters first.Stink... stank.... stunk.
It's a tough choice between the 3.
Grier is the most unknown of the 3 but you're almost certainly right. He's 28 and hasn't played any meaningful football since Brady was our QB so I wouldn't expect much either. Zappe hasn't shown anything positive since the Bears game so I wouldn't expect much there either. Choosing between these guys is like choosing to get kicked in the head or kicked in the gut. Both aren't great experiences.I don't even really see Grier as an option. So it comes down to Mac and Zappe. Problem is I believe Mac still gives the better chance to win. We kinda know we don't want either Mac or Zappe on the roster at all next season. I'd be curious about Grier as a potentially capable QB2 or placeholder for when they get a true QB1.Grier is the most unknown of the 3 but you're almost certainly right. Really the guy who can't hit the broadside of a barn gives us the best chance to win I think not!I don't even really see Grier as an option. So it comes down to Mac and Zappe. Sets him off or break him??Problem is Mac likely practices well. The pressure level's not high enough to trigger his yips. It's game intensity sets him off.
Could be. Or a vet. I wonder what vets are on the market after the season...We kinda know we don't want either Mac or Zappe on the roster at all next season. I'd be curious about Grier as a potentially capable QB2 or placeholder for when they get a true QB1.

Wentz was on the streets but recently signed somewhere can't imagine he could be any worse than M Jones.Could be. Or a vet. I wonder what vets are on the market after the season...
He is bad though, I wouldn't want the Patriots to try and find out for themselves who is worse...Wentz was on the streets but recently signed somewhere can't imagine he could be any worse than M Jones.
100 percent thisProblem is Mac likely practices well. The pressure level's not high enough to trigger his yips. It's game intensity sets him off.
If he's that kind of QB (and he isn't the only one) then it only makes sense to build an elite OL to protect him. Not according to Bill though! He's just that much smarter than everyone so what do we know.100 percent this
If he knows there is no fear of being hit he can play well.
But when it’s real he becomes a Shook one.
