Why stop there??

After Light retires, Ocho is cut and Welker signs a new deal that number will get up to $15M (total guess). Bring in Lardarius Webb and Jonathan Stewart.

They might need to trade Hoyer too.

I hate to break it to all you Chad Johnson haters, but he's not getting cut thanks to the fact that he restructured his deal. BB has NEVER cut a vet during a year that he restructured. (Haynesworth doesn't count since the restructure occurred to facilitate the trade).

Light retiring would save about 4.5 million.. A new deal by Welker could save another 3-4 million as well. The Pats don't need that much cap space right now.
