Wow. It took all of one post to derail a thread about Myra Kraft into another rant about the Jets. Let it go, already, or at least keep it contained to threads that have something (anything) to do with the Jets.

Back on topic: a silver lining in all of this, if there can even really be one, is that this last month or so has really shown how much the players appreciate and respect both Robert and Myra Kraft. Sure, we all know the reputation, but the shows of support from the players and the whole community have been a bit above and beyond what I expected. It seems like the the Wilforks, in particular, have really been active in this regard. It also seems like Vince is really stepping up as a vocal (to the public) leader this year. He's been offering up a lot of quotes, and they're all exactly what you want to hear.

Q: You sat with her, right next to her for every game. How are you going to get by these games?

RK: Well, actually, Steve Neal just came and visited me. He was up in the office and he said, ‘What are you doing to remember her?' I said, ‘Well the guys are going to be wearing a patch.' He said, ‘Well, that's cool because that means we're going to have one heck of a season.' Because if they have her energy and desire to win and, in a good way, kick butt where it matters, her spirit will hopefully come through it.
