Patriots Deal With The Devil Finally Ends

I stopped read after here. Any chance you can put the name of who is writing the article in the threads from now on. I will never read anything by Bob George ever again.

Okay, here's the question of the year: Which receiving trio would you prefer, Deion Branch, David Givens and Troy Brown or Randy Moss, Donte Stallworth and Wes Welker?

Before you inquire as to what Yours Truly might have been smoking, think it over.

Same. I have never seen such a piece of hackery. It is truly Borgesian in its awfulness.

The title is totally disrepectful and an embarassment. The article itself is not a whole lot better.

Getting Randy Moss for a 4th rounder did not constitute making a deal with the devil. We got him almost free and he had 3 extremely productive seasons here. Tell me how he is at all responsible for the SB loss the the Giants and the rout when we were run over by the Ravens.

I see the point that dink and dunk worked for 5 years. Don't blame Randy for not bringing home the hardware recently.

Man that was putrid. While I may differ with the opinions of the other hacks, at least they can write.

That was the worst article I've ever read. No wonder athletes hate the Boston media. Moss gave a ton of production to this team. Brady throws a good deep pass, but with any quarterback the accuracy goes way down, obviously. The Pats did not win a Super Bowl with Moss because the defense was not as strong, they weren't as lucky, and the run game was weaker. It wasn't because of #81.

You'd think this guy was a bigger bust than Adalius Thomas or Derrick Burgess. Moss was awesome, and I'll miss his incredible talent and his fun antics. It's too bad he couldn't keep his team-first attitude forever, but no reason to urinate all over his legacy. This was not a good move for the Pats and the team is weaker... everyone should just admit that. But, the move appears to be necessary. It is what it is.

Sorry, Bob, but I am done reading your works. My time is more valuable than that. I concur with the commenters above.
