Interesting factoid about the Patriots/Browns series

Brady is 4-0 and undefeated against Cleveland as starting QB - (BB lost to Cleveland with Bledsoe under center in 2000)

The Patriots in their history has beaten Cleveland in September,October and December but has NEVER beaten Cleveland in the month of November either at home or away and are 0-6 vs Cleveland in November in the past 40 years.

So what will it be?

Brady's streak to beat Cleveland to extend it to 5-0 lifetime against them?

or

Cleveland to beat the Pats to remain undefeated in November games against them?

One streak will be broken this sunday.....

I may be biased, but if I have to bet on Brady, or anything else, my money is on Brady 100% of the time!!!

I think if you ask most, it will be Brady to maintain his streak

Question: When was the last time we played them in November? Was it the 2000 game?

I never read into these types of statistics, they don't really mean anything in my opinion. All I know is that we are facing the Browns on Sunday and it shouldn't be a hard game for us to win.

With these stats you are plumbing depths of irrelevance heretofore uncharted.

When searching for unbeaten Browns records, one must be willing to go to Hell and back...

November has the letter "V" in it. Cleveland has the letter "V" in it.

Coincidence...I think not.

Sure Drew Brees and the Saints said the same thing.

Meh, the Saints haven't looked quite like the Saints this year. The Patriots, on the other hand, have looked fantastic and have beaten good teams such as the Baltimore Ravens. If we were to lose to the Browns it would be a big upset for Pats fans. If we are going to lose another game or two this season, I expect that loss to be from either the Steelers or the Jets. The Colts are way to banged up to be scared of. But yeah, A lot of the time teams who you are supposed to beat aren't always sure wins.

Literally nobody on the Colts matters besides Manning and Freeney. I don't care who they have playing the other positions, **** Butkus or **** Clark, they are still the team to beat.

Not that I think it's going to happen, but I hope that the team doesn't look past Cleveland and onto Pittsburgh. Cleveland has a pretty decent defense and Mangini will probably pull out all the stops to try to steal a win. This is a potential trap game.

My take on this game.....

Pats have too many young players to look past this game.....

Everyone is trying to be better each week and not mess up....

If the coaches have them prepared...they should win....

This is not a team of mostly vets who would have a let down....

yeah, i thought this too until i watched MNF. They still got it done. Not to say Texans are a great team with a bad defense but Manning still found ways to move the ball.

When a no name like Tenne, the Colts WR has a pretty good game you just realize that only Manning and Brady can make these guys into stars -

The Colts may be lacking in healthy players, but they certainly can win as long as #18 is under center.

I think we beat the Browns, but no team should get overlooked this season!

Hernandez will get his first regular season TD this week!

Tom Brady as a Patriots is a relevant fact, since he's clearly a reason for the strong success. He has the highest winning % of any QB in the Super Bowl era. From a "trend" standpoint, it's hard to call this a fluke or statistical anomaly.

The November fact is a statistical anomaly. The Patriots have beaten the Browns nine times in their history. The fact that none of those games have been in November (there is roughly a 25% chance each time), does not really have much meaning unless there is evidence that either the Patriots are historically bad in November, or the Browns are historically good in November.

Obviously, you need to take the most recent indicator as the most important indicator. Sure, the Patriots have not beaten the Browns in November in 40 years, but when is the last time the Browns beat the Patriots in November? Which relevant players were involved? Probably not many. Meanwhile, with many of the current players and coaches, the Patriots have steamrolled the Browns for the last decade, and the win-loss records this year indicate the Patriots have the edge.

So, in looking at which trend is more indicative of this game, it's obviously the Brady factor.
